The Jazz Band Day will have high school jazz bands performing all afternoon.
The evening concert features The Stan Kenton Alumni Band directed by Mike Vax. This is truly an all star band with 12 out of the 19 musicians having played with Stan Kenton when he was alive and others having played with Woody Herman, Buddy Rich and Maynard Ferguson.
