White Album Ensemble “unplugged” at Kuumbwa Jazz Center

WAE productions present—the White Album Ensemble‘s traditional “Unplugged” Valentine’s weekend concerts—Beatles love songs, performed on acoustic instruments, such as the Kuumbwa’s lovely Yamaha grand piano, which has been played by Herbie Hancock, Mose Allison and so many greats. Selections will be included from the last 7 BEATLES albums—Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt Pepper’s, Magical Mystery Tour, The “White” Album, Let it Be, and Abbey Road—with an accent on beautiful melodies, acoustic guitars, piano and rich vocal sounds. This is the period where the Beatles no longer performed “live” as the music had so many overdubs, edits and vocal arrangements that four musicians simply couldn’t perform the songs with 60’s technology...

These shows do usually sell-out. “PREFERRED SEATING” means the center section– 1st 4 rows, with best views, and tables for drinks or food. This guarantees the section, but not the seats themselves.
