The Windham Hill Winter Solstice Celebration has become an annual event featuring three popular Windham Hill artists: pianist Liz Story, a three-time Grammy nominee; fiddler/pianist/vocalist Barbara Higbie, also a Grammy nominee; and Celtic harpist Lisa Lynne, a multi-instrumentalist specializing in traditional folk instruments. Multi-instrumentalists George Tortorelli and Aryeh Frankfurter provide additional support, expanding the group’s sonic palette with everything from bamboo flutes to exotic percussion. For more than a decade, these performers have made the Winter Solstice project an exuberant event for everyone to enjoy during the holiday season.
