Post-Chromodal Out! represents the next step in composer/saxophonist Hafez Modirzadeh’s 30-year quest to create a seamless exchange of musical structures across many cultures. The project is the culmination of a system he refers to as “chromodality,” which he created to integrate Persian musical tones with Western tones. The result is a musical, cultural blend that breaks boundaries and creates new musical worlds.
