For the past ten years he’s been building a reputation as a trumpeter and composer with the Grammy award-winning group Snarky Puppy. Truth is, Mike “Maz” Maher has been singing and writing songs since he was a teenager and has never lost his passion for it. His debut EP, Maz, was released in 2012 and he began opening shows for Snarky Puppy in venues across the globe. With a follow-up album in 2016 hotly anticipated, Maher continues to hone his blend of blues-inflected, indie pop jazz.
