Mancini’s career truly took flight when he found his musical home in the vibrant LA creative music scene. He has left an indelible mark in the industry, earning accolades and recognition from peers and audiences alike. DRUM Magazine’s Reader’s Poll even named him “Best Jazz Percussionist” on vibes.
Throughout his illustrious career, Nick Mancini has shared the stage and collaborated with an array of musical luminaries, from Arturo Sandoval to Kamasi Washington. His performances have graced legendary venues in both New York and LA, including the Apollo Theater and Birdland. Mancini’s festival appearances span the globe, from Scandinavia to Australia, making him a truly international artist.
Not only is Nick Mancini a dynamic performer and composer, but he is also a dedicated educator. He is the incoming Coordinator of Jazz Studies at the University of Tulsa, beginning in the Fall of 2024.
