Luiz Brasil, known as the lead guitarist in the bands of Caetano Veloso, Gilbert Gil and Gal Costa, will make a very rare United States appearance showcasing his talents as a bandleader. Born in Salvador, Bahia, in 1954, Brasil is best known for his performances with Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, Gal Costa, Nando Reis, Cássia Eller, and many other stars of Brazil.
