Multi-instrumentalist Mary Fettig is a performer, teacher, and clinician who has played at festivals and toured with celebrity acts around the country. The first woman to join the Stan Kenton Orchestra, she is currently a faculty member at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. She is joined by John R. Burr piano; John Shifflett bass; and Curt Moore, drums.

Jazz in the Neighborhood has partnered with Copperfield's Books for this free concert series at Copperfield's bookstores in Healdsburg, San Rafael, Santa Rosa, and Novato. Renowned jazz musicians will share the stage with aspiring young players from local schools to carry on the jazz tradition of “learning on the bandstand.”
