For this show Paula teams up with Nate Ginsberg and his acoustic trio- to present a jazzy, bluesy and impudent show that pulls from the great American songbook, smooth jazz, and provocative lyrics full of humor and double entendre. They pull a surprisingly wide array of songs together which all represent the intersection of Jazz & Blues…with a heaping dose of soul on the side. It’s shocking downright sexy and entertaining to be lulled by the elegant complexity of a beautiful jazz standard- then forced to laughter at the witty naughty lyrics from either Paula or some of the lesser known “greats” of the 40’s-60 such as Dinah Washington and Helen Humes.
