The Ray Obiedo Group is made up of some of the finest jazz musicians the San Francisco Bay Area has to offer. With its heavy influence of contemporary Jazz, Latin and Brazilian rhythms, a traditional East Bay Funk sound is always at the core of the ensemble.
Influenced by such diverse artists as Herbie Hancock, James Brown, Tower of Power and Miles Davis, the group fuses its collective knowledge by creating a uniquely electrified world of jazz & soul.
