Record Launch: Room 423 at Netzwerk Neubad

The concert on February 20, 2026, in the pool of Neubad is the world premiere of the new composition Room 423 for solo saxophone and electronics by Urs Leimgruber. On this occasion, the Lucerne-based label Creative Works Records will release the CD Room 423.

Room 423 live is conceived with the aim of exploring the musical field of the improvising composer and saxophonist Urs Leimgruber, in collaboration with sound engineer Marie-Cécile Reber, using her instrument: electronics and loudspeakers. Marie-Cécile Reber’s musical practice is essentially concerned with sound and space; during the concert she simultaneously records the sounds played by the saxophonist, processes them, enhances the spatial sound qualities of the musician, and multiplies, expands, and disperses them throughout the space....
