The Temecula Valley International Jazz Festival is a 3 day mostly free event with over 25 performances at 6 locations, featuring: Ernestine Anderson, Mose Allison, Richie Cole with the Powder Blues Band, Julio Figueroa & Kyrios, Ed Johnson Novo Tempo with Jennifer Scott, Sherwood Sledge, Judy Wexler, Cuchata, the Chuck Niles Jazz Music Award Competition and Congressional Lifetime Achievement Award certificates going to Sammy Nestico and Dick Berk. Saturday will be the Main Street Art Faire, and the Main Street Saturday night Stage. Proceeds benefit Musicains Workshop - non profit, Children's After School Performing Arts & Music Education Programs and events, and the Temecula Valley Cultural Arts & Music Center - Home to the Chuck Niles Memorial Jazz Library.
Directions: From LA - take either the 210, 10, 60, or 91 East to I-15 South. Follow South to Temecula, Exit Right on Rancho California Rd. Take the 1st Left on Old Town Front St.
