Currently singing with the Carlos Santana Band, Andy’s style results primarily from the influence of his father, Javier Vargas, as well as Carlos Santana. Andy now tailors his music to his own creative convictions, writing and recording original compositions in his private studio. Collaborating with friends and colleagues, Andy’s music follows in the Santana tradition of combining musical ideas from multiple cultures and genres. In addition to his own music, Andy is now working with the electrifying Maria Conchita Alonzo for her upcoming album.
