On March 25, 2014, The GRAMMY Museum unveiled Blue Note Records: The Finest In Jazz. Located in the Mike Curb Gallery on the Museum’s fourth floor, this one-of-a-kind exhibit offers visitors an in-depth look at the legendary record label, who are currently celebrating their 75th anniversary.
On display through October 2014, the exhibit features:
A baby grand piano, belonging to Thelonius Monk;
original tape box from Rudy Van Gelder’s recording sessions;
handwritten lyrics & sheet music from various Blue Note artists, past and present;
original concert posters, handbills and other ephemera;...
