Today, there is a growing interest amongst architects that have spawned new and innovative approaches to housing that are well-designed and incorporate a combination of creative social programming, cutting-edge forms and materials, sustainable design and a keen sense of aesthetic. For decades Los Angeles has been perceived as a sprawling metropolis, designed with an eye to quantity, not quality housing. Today, good design is a cornerstone of thriving homes and communities of all incomes and backgrounds.
