The Bakersfield Jazz Workshop celebrates Jazz Appreciation Month with a septet led by Alejandro Arvizu. Established Sept 19, 2006, Bakersfield Jazz Workshop is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to education, appreciation and promotion of jazz music in Bakersfield and Kern County, California. We engage with our community through weekly workshops, scholarships, free concerts, and other activities.
