After almost six score weeks of streaming jazz jams now based at his House of Bop in Burlingame, saxophonist Andrew Speight is presenting the first-ever four-day BOPPINGAME JAZZ FEST. It takes off on Memorial Day, May 30th at 2 pm in Burlingame, with the Sydney-born Speight hosting an Australian BBQ, with wine and big beer from Down Under. Siizzling bop-based salvos start at around 3:30, with the renown Dr. Eddie Henderson on trumpet, Peter Zak on piano, Sylvia Cuenca on drums, Marcos Varela on bass, and host Speight on alto and other reeds.
