Caili O'doherty - "padme" cd Release at San Jose Jazz: San Pedro Square Market

A native of Portland, Oregon, Caili O'Doherty has received national awards for jazz piano performance and composition from Downbeat Magazine as well as an ASCAP Young Jazz Composer award. She has performed at jazz festivals in Toronto, Monterey, Panama, Ireland, Boston, Portland, and Paris as well as at Lincoln Center in New York and the Kennedy Center in Washington D. C. Since graduating from Berklee College of Music she has made her home in New York City where she performs with a variety of musicians.

For this concert Caili celebrates the release of her debut album, Padme, which features a diverse mix of original compositions inspired by her experiences teaching and playing music in North America, Panama, Colombia, and West Africa...
