On Friday evening, July 19th, Deborah Winters, pianist Ken Cook, Sascha Jacobsen and Ian Dogole will unite to take their listeners on a musical journey that traverses distant lands and diverse styles. Percussion instruments from around the globe will collaborate with voice, keyboards and double bass in ever-changing configurations that showcase each member as the leader. They will perform original compositions and “covers” sourced from the innovators of Jazz (e.g., Miles Davis & Pharoah Sanders) and from the intoxicating array of indigenous music cultures that span the globe.
