Mothers & Daughtes with three world premieres: Matrix by Bay Area favorite, LGBTQ composer Elinor Armer to poems by Ursula LeGuin and Rella Lossey; Gripe Water by E4TT composer David Garner to poems by Gini Savage and Mother Love by emerging composer Brennan Stokes to poems by Rita Dove. Plus Rest These Hands by Anna Clyne, Mother and Child by William Grant Still and Ji-Dong-Nuo by Chen Yi. There will be a pre-concert composer talk.
