Ian Dogole & Music Beyond Borders at JB Piano

Please join us for a concert of adventurous music that pushes the envelope – straddling the intersections of jazz, world music and free improvisation. Instruments from Africa, South America, Europe and the Middle East will be played in concert with more traditional Western instruments. Ian’s group will be performing compositions by Ian Dogole, Paul McCandless, Onaje Alan Gumbs, Dave Holland, Thelonious Monk and William E. Lee (Spike Lee’s father), just to name a few.
