Brazilian “Tapas.” The well-loved bossa nova and samba are just two of the many flavors of Brazilian music. SambaNoma will play those familiar styles with a jazz inflection, but will also serve up some small bites of other styles including baião, partido alto, xote, and frevo.
SambaNoma Quartet - Ruth Ahlers on saxophone and flute, Christian Foley-Beining on guitar, Jim Passarell on bass, Kendrick Freeman on drums.
