Evan Christopher and the renowned Rosenberg Trio will make their sole U.S. appearance together in Santa Barbara, California on Monday, June 11, 2012 at 7:30pm to perform “The Power of Swing: Gypsy Jazz with Creole Spice” at The Marjorie Luke Theater. The occasion for this musical summit of infectious Gypsy swing and the sultry sounds of New Orleans is a rare U.S. visit by virtuoso guitarist Stochelo Rosenberg and his trio.
The concert, which begins at 7:30pm, will reprise their powerful mix of Django Reinhardt classics, New Orleans standards, and vivacious originals.

There will also be a 6:30pm pre-concert talk on the King of Gypsy Jazz, the virtuoso guitarist, Django Reinhart, and his connections to New Orleans.
