Toya Alexander: It's a love thang! at Rhythmix Cultural Works

This Valentine's Day, Bay Area Jazz and R&B artist Toya Alexander celebrates love songs from the past and present, along with a few of her originals, live and in concert with the fabulous Lloyd Gregory All-Star Ensemble!

Toya is widely recognized for her Phyllis Hyman tribute concerts, has opened for Howard Hewitt, Freda Payne, Norman Connors (among others) and has been a featured vocalist with Bay Area bands as well as performing for both public and private events. This is her fifth appearance at Rhythmix Cultural Works. For this most romantic musical evening, Toya will be supported by vocalists Anna Lissa Jack & Tamara Joiner and The Lloyd Gregory All-Star Ensemble, a stellar group of professional Bay Area recording and performing musicians, directed by award winning guitarist Lloyd Gregory. The ensemble includes Pianist Glen Pearson; Bassist Ron Belcher; Percussionist Leon Joyce; Saxophonist Richard Howell.
