Saxophone player Olaf Boelsen and guitarist Jörg Pfeil are back in Germany after 10 years of living in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, returning with a lot of Ethio-Jazz experience.
With the band Jazzmaris they are presenting Ethiopian sound at it's best: music of Mulatu Astatke, the godfather of Ethio-Jazz, songs of the singers Mahmoud Ahmed, Telahun Gessesse and
Girma Beyene and own compositions.
