In January 2010, Jimetta independently released her debut solo album The Barber's Daughter. Laced with introspective prose, velvety vocal punches and exceptional production from some of Los Angeles’ most revered underground producers, her highly-anticipated solo debut is an impressive showcase of her talent as a singer, songwriter, poet and thinker.
