Katalyst is a nine-piece band born and bred in Los Angeles. Katalyst's style of music can best be described as “contemporary instrumental,” combining sounds from all over the world integrated with jazz.

Katalyst is not just a band, however, it is a collective of producers, composers, session musicians and writers who have worked with the likes of Beyonce, Solange, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Anderson.Paak, Nas, Alina Baraz, Soulection, SiR, Kamaal Williams, Big Sean, and more, on notable stages from the Walt Disney Concert Hall to Coachella.

Katalyst’s debut album Nine Lives, featured editorially on Apple Music, Spotify, and TIDAL when it was released, encompasses all of their influences and leverages their versatility.
