The art of the jazz piano trio continues in Healdsburg this year, courtesy of the Lorca Hart Trio, a cross-generational group featuring the mid-career drummer Hart and dynamic young pianist Josh Nelson, a long time collaborator and friend of Lorca’s. Nelson will supply his melodic and swinging touch, a touch which has been tapped for Natalie Cole’s band in recent years.
