About

A champion of the classical guitar, Cuban-born Manuel Barrueco made his Carnegie Hall debut in 1975, just eight years after immigrating with his family to the United States. Barrueco combines perfect technique with a sense of rhythms from tango and flamenco, garnered from his travels through virtually every country in Latin America. With more than a dozen recordings for record label EMI and collaborations with luminaries including Plácido Domingo, he is arguably the world’s finest living guitarist. Now you can see him live at Orange’s Musco Center for the Arts.
