Parris Lane is a Maryland PBS Emmy-nominated actress/singer, songwriter, music producer, and published author. Known for her unique and versatile singing, she was voted Best Blues Singer and nominated Best Jazz Singer by the Las Vegas Black Music Association. She has performed from Carnegie Hall to Europe, singing classical, and had a residency in the famous Oriental Hotel Bamboo Bar in Thailand, performing jazz. Her ability to transform covers gave her opportunities to work in Las Vegas at the Venetian Hotel and the posh private Sterling Club. Guest performance by Twilight Brass Band, the ONLY brass band in the Bay Area spearheaded by a New Orleans native son, Harold J. Wilson. Harold is the great-grandson of New Orleans Brass Band royalty, Booker T. Glass.
