The SFJAZZ High School All-Stars Combo features eight of the best high school musicians in the Bay Area, led by renowned musician and educator, Dann Zinn. For this fall Festival, the Combo will explore some of the principal themes of the jazz language: communication, interaction and expression. By exploring standard repertoire, original compositions by band members and contemporary songs and styles, the ensemble continues to display individual creativity and talent within a group dynamic.
