Taylor Eigsti, a Menlo Park, CA native and former child prodigy, has been recognized world-wide for his innovation, creative improvisation, and his unique electrifying rhythmic touch on the piano. Just 26 years old, Taylor’s talent has earned him the opportunity to record and perform with such luminaries as Dave Brubeck, Christian McBride, Joshua Redman, James Moody, Ernestine Anderson, Frederica Von Stade, Patti Austin, Red Holloway, and many others. His 2006 album, “Lucky to Be Me” was nominated for two GRAMMY awards for Best Instrumental Composition and Best Instrumental Jazz Solo. Proceeds from the concert will benefit Child Advocates of Silicon Valley. Approximately 1,800 children who have been abused, neglected or abandoned are now in the Santa Clara County foster care system. Child Advocates has been providing essential services to this vulnerable population since 1986. The organization trains and supports Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers to work one-on-one with children, helping to ensure that each child will live in a safe and loving environment and has the resources needed to grow up healthy and strong.
