Linda Porter, born into a wealthy and distinguished Virginia family, was the wife of American composer and songwriter Cole Porter for 34 years and led a sophisticated, luxurious, but also difficult life as an elegant salon lioness and muse at the side of a homosexual man. The evening will feature songs penned by Cole Porter such as "In the Still of the Night," "Night and Day," "So in Love," "You Do Something for Me," "Let's Be Buddies" and "Riding High." In this way, the unique lyrics and music of this important figure in jazz history, but also the biography of the Porter couple, come to life.
