Active since the mid-1980s, Phil Abraham is one of the leading ambassadors of Belgian jazz and without question the most prominent figure of the trombone in Belgium.

Over the course of an impressive career, he has collaborated with major artists such as Michel Petrucciani, Clark Terry, Maria Schneider, and Art Farmer, as well as performing with the orchestras of Charles Aznavour and Claude Nougaro — not to mention Toots Thielemans, of course. This Sunday, we welcome a true national heavyweight.

For this concert, he is joined by two long-time musical partners with equally impressive résumés, along with the young and highly promising Ukrainian pianist Pavlo Cherniavskyi, a familiar face at our jam sessions.
