Instrumental musician and media computer scientist Falk Grieffenhagen studied both sound engineering and jazz with his main instruments being the saxophone, clarinet, and flute in Düsseldorf and Cologne. Since 1996, he has been working as a freelance artist performing worldwide in the fields of jazz, new music, electronics, and media art. As a composer, he works in the fields of film music and radio plays as well as for his own instrumental ensembles. Argentinian pianist and composer Ariel Rodríguez combines South American traditions with the contemporary European scene. He holds a degree in composition from the Universidad Nacional de Villa María in Argentina and looks back on a career spanning more than 20 years as a composer, pianist, and lecturer in counterpoint. He has released albums both as a composer and pianist and has also written music for various theater productions. A recent highlight of his career is his nomination for the 2025 Latin Grammy (Best Instrumental Album) for the album Saga, which he recorded with the Orquestra Assintomática and guitar legend Yamandú Costa. Rodríguez currently lives in Lisbon.

Stefan Rademacher is a bassist and one of the most sought-after lecturers in his field. He was a long-time member of the Billy Cobham Group and has worked with George Duke, Randy Brecker, Hiram Bullock, and Chaka Khan, among others. He was a guest soloist with the WDR Big Band and the Bochum Symphony Orchestra and, together with Axel Fischbacher, organizes the jazz series “Jazzattack” in Krefeld. His sound, rarely heard among bassists, on the acoustic bass guitar offers an impressively unique range of tones. Rademacher is a professor at the Bern University of the Arts (HKB).

Ralf Gessler is a fixture on the German jazz scene. He studied at the Cologne University of Music and Dance. Gessler gained international recognition primarily as a long-time member of the Frederik Köster Quartet, with whom he won the ECHO Jazz Award and toured from Central America to India. He demonstrates his stylistic openness in projects such as Tobias Hoffmann’s “Fallschirmen” and as a sought-after sideman for Tom Gaebel and Nils Wülker. Gessler is also a lecturer at the Offene Jazz Haus Schule Cologne.
