Tree Of Life / Holiday Open House Festival

The holiday season can be a very difficult time for many people who have experienced the death of a loved one. In an effort to make this time less difficult and offer hope for the future, the Cemetery staff invites the community to visit the facility for its Tree of Life / Holiday Open House 2016 on Friday, December 2 from 4pm to 6pm. Personalize and decorate ornaments and place them on its Tree of Life in the Mausoleum lobby in honor of loved ones who have passed away. Woodlawn will provide the ornaments and craft decorations, which will be available for visitors to place on the tree through December 23

This year’s event will also feature special performances by the John Adams Middle School Choir. Participants are also invited to participate in our “Ugly Christmas Sweater” contest, enjoy light refreshments, view a holiday movie playing on the Mausoleum’s big screen, and take pictures with Santa Claus. Woodlawn Cemetery, Mausoleum & Mortuary is also an official drop off site of the Toys for Tots drive.
