In addition, Motormouthmedia works closely with Universal Music Enterprises and other large catalog divisions to promote reissues, new DVD’s and more. Last year, Motormouthmedia ran the campaigns for the double Platinum Legend of Johnny Cash album; multiple reissues and deluxe sets from Sonic Youth and DJ Shadow; remix records from Nina Simone and Motown; rediscovered songs from Diana Ross; a new pop vocal album from Smokey Robinson (Grammy nominated); best of albums from Nirvana and DVD’s from Bob Marley, Nirvana, Rush, U2 and more. In 2007 Motormouthmedia will work on the Nick Drake estate for a full year of releases including rarities, bootlegs and a boxset.
Motormouthmedia also offers consulting and marketing services. The company has worked closely with the Swedish Consulate for many years bringing Swedish acts to America and will also work with the Finnish Consulate in 2007. Motormouth also did PR for last years amazing Intonantion Festival in Chicago.
Motormouthmedia is diverse and flexible. Our four-person team (and growing!) is versed in many generes (indie-rock, hip-hop, electronic, film/DVD, singer-songwriters) and is connected at all levels of the media. We work big and small, we put bands on TV and MP3’s into blogs.
