When Cafe Club Fais Do Do added an experimental music
night to their schedule, it made sense. Most popular music forms
already had a home on the Fais Do Do stage, including hip-hop,
funk, salsa, alternative, blues, and soul. In keeping with the New
Orleans theme, new music nights happen on Fat Tuesdays. Built
as a bank in 1930 in the old Sugar Hill district, it's been home
since 1990. Fais Do Do serves Po'Boys, jambalya, red beans and
rice, and catfish, plus select beers to cool the spice.
