Vivian and Walter started the restaurant when Studio City was a one-horse town back in 1964. It is an old tiny house converted into a restaurant Vivian’s has had a few owners since then. Angelo and George took it over in November 1999 – thus the “Millennium”! Angelo and George decided to turn the driveway into a patio! Our focus is to make our customers feel like they’re having breakfast or lunch in their own backyard… your home away from home in Studio City! Beginning July 12, 2025, BackRhoades Productions kicks off its summer jazz & blues series “Backyard Boogie Under the Stars at Vivian's.” The “Backyard Boogie Under the Stars” series will take advantage of Vivian’s signature patio space, blending its serene backyard vibe with the vibrant energy of live music under the starry California sky
