Possessing an exquisite touch, and astonishing technique, Clayton ranks among the very best pianists of his generation. Not yet 40, Clayton has served as music director of the Monterey Jazz Festival On Tour, released five highly regarded albums, and collaborated with artists including Roy Hargrove, Charles Lloyd, Diana Krall, Ambrose Akinmusire, and Terri Lyne Carrington. Joining Clayton is Elena Pinderhughes, who at just 27 years old has established herself as one of the preeminent flutists in modern music. Pinderhughes' style seamlessly blends jazz, hip-hop, and R&B influences, reflecting her diverse musical upbringing and open-minded approach to music. She was raised in the S.F. Bay Area and moved to New York to study at The Manhattan School of Music. In New York, she began recording, touring, and performing with artists in multiple genres including Common, Herbie Hancock, Christian Scott a Tunde Adjuah, Terrace Martin, Hubert Laws, Kenny Barron, Stefon Harris, and many more.
